As graduation approaches, it often marks the lives of seniors with important deadlines, and exciting opportunities for their futures. May solidifies a lot, from college decisions to prom and other fun activities. While most are planning ahead, it’s important to take in the final moments of high school and be present in the moment.

The following should be kept in mind to ensure that seniors do not miss out on critical events in their last month of high school. 

May 1st is prom, themed as Midnight Masquerade in Paris at Bobak’s Signature Events at 6440 Double Eagle Dr. Woodridge IL 60515. All students attending must arrive before 8:00 p.m and have their ID’s available for display. 

May 6th is Senior Awards, meant to recognize intelligence and excellence amongst those who signed up for [scholarships] though everyone is welcome to attend. Parents and guardians will receive an invitation if their student is recognized at this event.

May 18th is Senior Tailgate & Movie on the Football Field, all senior students are welcome to attend for free, and staff will be grilling for the senior class before they go to the football field to watch a movie. 

May 19th is the Senior Dinner Dance: Students must purchase tickets to attend this event. Mansard Room  301 Moen Ave.Rockdale, IL 60436. 

May 22nd is  Cap, Gown & Ticket Distribution Caps, Gowns, and Graduation Tickets are distributed. Each graduating student receives five (5) tickets. Final transcript request forms are available at senior check-out, and are not sent automatically. One final transcript is sent free of charge; additional transcripts must be requested online. 

It is imperative to keep these dates in mind as the end of the year approaches, these ensure that seniors get to make the most of their final days, and get to celebrate their hard work.
