The powder puff game has now started, and the fans are out for the girls. The cheerleaders are out cheering for the teams to get this game ready. Both seniors and juniors both play hard in the first quarter, going back and forth, as both teams want to be the first to score. But the first quarter ended with a score of zero for both teams.
The second quarter starts off hard for the juniors by getting two big first downs, which eventually gets them the first points of the game and completes the extra point. The seniors try to get started on offense, but the juniors make a big play on defense to force the first interception of the night. The seniors try throwing the ball to get some yards, but it was intercepted by the juniors for the second time and the juniors scored with the score being thirteen to zero at halftime.
The cheerleaders went out on the field and put on a show which the crowd enjoyed and got them ready for the next half of football. The third quarter started off with the seniors trying to put themselves back into the game, but the quarter ended thirteen zero.
The fourth quarter started with seniors starting off with the ball and making the biggest play of the night, it was run in for an eighty yard touchdown and an extra point that got everyone on their feet. The atmosphere was incredible, one side cheering seniors the other side juniors. The seniors looked to score too and take the lead on their next play, it was a pass to the receiver, but it was too short and there was a late call after the play that had some juniors and seniors with words for each other. One of the players said “I felt like this was unnecessary” and at this point you could really see how competitive this game was getting for the teams. As the clock started to run down, the senior’s last chance of winning came down to the very last play, they run the ball to get past the first down and more but was brought down and as they battled hard the juniors get the win with the final score thirteen to seven as the fans show their respect to both teams a round of applause as that is a wrap to the 2023 powder puff game.
