Expectations are high for the boys tennis team this year according to Coach Gillman. Each member was expected to work on skills and stay conditioned during the offseason to contribute to the team. Everyone should be ready to work hard because the best singles player and best doubles will be awarded the captain position. The team is expected to win as many dual meetings as they can and their own invites. It all falls onto the players to advance them into the state tournament and Coach Gillman expects them to get there this year. The big story last year was freshman Jack Carney dominating at varsity level. In an interview, he says expressed his confidence in his ability to make the team again. Jack also shares the same goals laid out by Coach Gillman. He also wanted to mention what great chemistry the team had and how accepting the team is and this should lead to more wins.
