Black Friday Buzz
November 9, 2010
What is Black Friday all about? Some may ask this question when you notice that all your favorite stores are overcrowded and full of money spenders. Being the busiest shopping day of the year this is the day to catch up on all your Holiday shopping and it’s all on sale too. In the United States, Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday in November.Black Friday is always the Friday following Thanksgiving, occuring answhere between the 23rd and the 29th of November. The term Black Friday dates all the way back to at least 1966. Stores that will be opening at midnight on Black Friday include Sears, Best Buy, Macy’s, Toys “R” Us, Wal-Mart and Target.
Instead of getting trampled by the massive crowds running into the stores and fighting with the woman next to you about who’s getting the Wii for her son that’s been begging for one all year, simply order it online a month or weeks before Black Friday so it will be shipped to you by the time it’s needed. I know everyone wants to go shopping on Black Friday because of the sales but just face it, by the time you get there everything will be gone. If you go to www.black-friday.net it will show you the catalog Ads for certain stores you’ll want to go holiday shopping at. For example, Ace Hardware for fathers, Wal-Mart, Toys “R” Us, true Value, K Mart, Sears etc. If you look at the far right list of this website, it will show you over 99 store catalogs to choose from. These lists will show you the items for sale and the price tags with the sales price included.
