On November 20, 2024, Coachella announced a lineup of artists that would perform at their festival. Fans of ENHYPEN, named ENGENES, were pleasantly surprised to find their name on the list for April 12, 2025 and April 19, 2025. They were the only K-pop boy group that would be performing at Coachella this year. Excitement erupted within the fandom and they were proud of the group for achieving this huge milestone.
ENHYPEN is a 7-member KPOP boy group under HYBE LABELS and Belift Lab. The members include, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki. The group debuted on November 30, 2020 and their debut song ‘Given-Taken’ was released on the same date. On April 4, 2025, ENHYPEN dropped a seductive, all English single called “Loose”. It is ENHYPEN’s first original English single.
Prior to Coachella, ENHYPE
N had the opportunity to perform “Loose” on Jimmy Kimmel Live on April 9th and after the first week of Coachella, they went on the Jennifer Hudson show on April 16th. In the first week of Coachella, ENHYPEN appeared wearing all denim outfits designed by PRADA. They are known ambassadors for the fashion brand. Their setlist consisted of rearranged versions of their old and new songs. What really stood out was an EDM remixed version of their song “Drunk-Dazed”. Fans claimed it fit well with the rave-like vibe of Coachella. Lots of ENGENES brought the energy in the crowd and at home, watching the live stream.
Week two, the boys showed up in a brand new red and black look. It’s a contrast to their cowboy styled looks on the first week. These looks gave more rockstar vibes. They performed the same songs, but it felt like the crowd was more energetic than last week and that allowed the boys to perform ten times better. At the end of the performance, ENGENES could be heard singing happy birthday to member, Jay. They also announced their new album “DESIRE:UNLEASH” coming on June 5, 2025!
It’s been an exciting week for the boys and their fans couldn’t be more proud of them. They seem to be having a blast in America and fans couldn’t be more happy.
