Lollapalooza and Lyrical Lemonade Rap

Lollapalooza and Lyrical Lemonade Rap

Craig Reed, Entertainment editor

Lollapalooza is a major music festival held in Chicago, featuring a variety of artists such as Travis Scott, Khalid, The Weeknd, Arctic Monkeys, Lil Uzi Vert and many more. Attending the festival was very exciting, and some tips for survival include staying hydrated, wearing comfortable shoes, going with a group with friends, having a game plan, and getting there early so you can see the artists you would like to see. At Lolla, there is plenty of dancing, mosh pits, food, and other attractions. Although experiencing the music is part of Lollapalooza, so is meeting new people and having a good time. On August 19, a young man by the name of Cole Bennett made history by expanding his brand Lyrical Lemonade to a concert with multiple up and coming rappers such as Trippie Red, Ski Mask the Slump God, Vic Mensa, Lil Skies, Joey Bad A$$, and many more. This was an all day event similar to Lollapalooza, starting at 12:00 noon and ending around 10:00 pm. At this event, there was food, drinks, and merchandise for people to buy and enjoy. If you were lucky enough to get a VIP ticket when you entered, you were given a goodie bag that included a Lyrical Lemonade water bottle and three random cards of rappers that performed out of all 25 artists that performed that day. We hope that the Lyrical Lemonade Summer Bash will take place next summer too for music lovers.
